@cleverdevil without a doubt. Haas needs some fresh talent. And while I don’t mind Kevin, he’s not the future, that’s for sure. Excited for his and Antonelli’s futures.

@cleverdevil brilliant drive from Oli. Aggressive, but within reason so as to not make any mistakes in some tight situations. Considering he effectively didn’t get a proper flyer before lights out, it was a fantastic drive. At minimum, he deserves a Haas seat next year.

@patrickrhone @AndyNicolaides I think there's room for both. Much of the stuff I look back at and am unimpressed with is because it has little relevance today or to me personally. However, whether it's writing about consumer technology or taking photographs for a local news story—those words and images meant something at the time and served to inform people in some way or another. They just aren't lasting, which I believe is the reality of much day-to-day news (how much of the daily newspaper gets forgotten within 48 hours, let alone years down the road). At the time, it served a reasonable purpose to inform or inspire (more often than not, at least in my case), but the lasting power is minimal. It can be frustrating at times, but it did serve its purpose at the time and, hopefully, kept others well informed in some capacity, which is a worthwhile endeavor in and of itself, even if it doesn't seem impressive in retrospect.

@AndyNicolaides I feel more or less the same after ten years of writing about consumer technology. Sure, I have solid articles here and there, but of the thousands of articles I wrote, only a handful stand out as meaningful or significant in any way. I guess most work is like that in the realm of things and I'm grateful I've been able to pay the bills that way over the years, but it's still a bit underwhelming when going through my archive.

@patrickrhone Yea, it’s more wishful thinking on my end than anything. But if history has shown anything, it’s probably best to be far more cynical about these matters regardless of who holds what office(s).
